Blackberry Storm

The Blackberry Storm goes by several names depending on who you ask. It was originally known as the BlackBerry Thunder but is most frequently now referred to as the BlackBerry Touch since it is the premier Blackberry touch screen Smartphone.

The Blackberry Storm is very touch sensitive and only requires a slight push of the screen to record your demand across the 3.25" screen that measures in at 480x320 pixels. Due to the 65,000 colour display you get clear viewing making use of the phone visual pleasing.

One feature of the Storm is that it is loaded with plenty of applications upon purchase unlike the iPhone when you have to purchase apps separately. It has many multimedia capabilities including video apps from websites such as Youtube and streaming audio that is received directly by the Blackberry Storm. It also comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera that doubles as a video recorder and outfitted with flash and auto-focus.

For those who want plenty of communication variations, the Blackberry Storm delivers with SMS and MSM text messaging abilities so that you can send both images and texts to your friends. The mobile also has Instant Messaging that works for Yahoo and MSN as well as its own system especially for other Blackberry owners. Additionally, there are apps for MySpace and Facebook with allowances to make site updates and blog entries while on the go.

The mobile also comes equipped with a quad band network so that you can roam internationally without having to purchase a separate mobile. While away from home you will find that the GPS navigational system that comes with the Blackberry Storm is useful alongside the maps and step by step direction services that you can access straight from the touch screen genius so long as you are in an area with a 3G network.

For those who are worried about work, the Storm also has Blackberry's standard DataViz feature which allows you to transfer and access Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word while travelling with just a simple touch of the screen. Also, the Storm has a built in calendar and address book so that you can keep track of your business contracts and write yourself memos in the task organizer. For those who need their hands, the Storm also has built in wireless Bluetooth making it easy to set the mobile aside and use the headphones when necessary.
